Agreement close to expiration, Modric has not yet decided on the future

Luka Modric is reported to have not made a decision about the future, despite the fact that his contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer on June 30th.

The veteran midfielder is “due to accept a reduced role this season, since it is no longer considered a regular title on Carlo Anceplott's team, Report Express broadcast.

According to the journalist, Matteo Moretto, Modric has not yet decided finally for the future, as he was offered by the Spanish club and the chance to be part of the coach staff for the upcoming season.

“Luka Modric has not yet made a 100% decision. The future may be outside of Europe for Modric. There have been calls from Dinamo Zagreb, but he will have the opportunity to leave Europe”, Moreto told “FootballEspana”

“Sic we know, Carlo Anceplotti asked if he would be interested in joining his staff in January. Modric is considering the role that might have next season with Real Madrid. Right now he's not playing much, he doesn't have the role he had before, and he's considering how that can change. He's going to think about it”, he added.

Dinamo Zagreb has not concealed the desire for 38-year-olds and recently published a complete ad in a Spanish newspaper as an attempt to persuade him to return to his homeland.

The Croatian sponsor appears to be not planning to retire, so staying in Real Madrid may not be an option, but likely there is again great interest in Saudi Arabia for midfielder, as was the case last summer.
