62 football players for age fraud suspended in Africa

The Cameroonan Football Federation has suspended 62 players for age fraud, African media reports.

Among those suspended is Wilfried Nathan Douala, midfielder of Victoria United, who was involved in the Africa Nations Cup claiming to be only 17 years old, with what the newest football player in the race had become, records “Gazeta Express.

But the reality is different because the player in question is older and has lied to his age.

These 62 players, including Doualan, were suspended for dual identities: they allegedly concealed their true age.
