Through a Facebook post, Lajcak has stressed the urgent need for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, adding that “normalisation is essential for regional stability, economic development and progress towards the European Union”.
I traveled here today for a series of meetings with our Italian partners. We discussed recent developments in Dialogue on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, broader regional issues and future steps in the coming months. Today, I met with Fabrizio Saggio, Italy's Diplomatic Adviser, Deputy Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Carlo Lo Cascio and Adriatic and Balkan Director Andrea Cascone. I am grateful for Italy's continued support and close co-ordination in our joint efforts. From Rome, tomorrow I'm going to Malta for another series of important consultations”, Lajcak said through a Facebook post.
Lajcak has also had meetings in Brussels with Dora Bakojannis, rapporteur for the PACE Political Affairs Commission.

Lajcak also wrote that the most intense part of last week was undoubtedly the annual Munich Security Conference.
