Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani and US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey M. Havenier, has attended the President's Day Note, reports Online Economics.
This manifestation was held in Pristina near the statue of President Bill Clinton.
Today in the United States is marked by Presidential Day, which first became a national holiday in 1879 in honor of the birthday of the first American President, George Washington, on February 22nd.
Nearly a century later in 1968, Congress adopted a law under which some national festivals would be marked, not on certain dates, but on Mondays, thus enabling citizens to have three days off.
Initially, it was celebrated only in the capital city, but in 1885 it extended to the rest of the country.
