Everything changing in Austria from March

From March 1st, change of road traffic law will be valid in Austria. The new laws will allow the government to seize and auction cars when drivers exceed the speed limit by more than 80km/h in urban areas or 90km/h outside the city.

If a vehicle director already has a corresponding penal precedent, for example, through participation in illegal car races, seizure is possible if speed exceeds more than 60 km/h in urban areas and 70 km/h outside the metropolitan areas.

New subsidies and early payments

From next month, new energy costs subsidies will be possible in many countries in Austria.

In Vienna, a new lease subsidies guide will support families receiving minimum income benefits, theocal.at writes. Some homes may benefit from an increase of up to 120 percent in the lease.

Those meeting the criteria can apply for a $100m subsidy from the online town of Wels by the end of April. And in Graz, the holders of SozialCard will receive a subvention of 110m on 19 March.

In Tirol, a new subsidies for housing will also be paid to low-income families this month.

Inoculation Campaign in Vienna

Vienna has a campaign to vaccinate against Free HPV (for women from 9 to 21 years of age) and without registration from March 4th to March 8th.

It's also possible to get immunization against shyths, measles and rubella and against Coddy-19 at the same time. You only have to bring a photo ID and, if available, your vaccine card and your electronic card.

Austria's Eurovision representative published
