Swedish midfielder Christoffer Olsson was placed at a hospital vent after losing consciousness at home. Former Arsenal player, 28, is reportedly suffering from what appears to be an acute brain - related disease.
The Danish club Middleland announced that he was sent to the University Hospital Aarhus on February 20th.
Everyone on FC Middleland is certainly deeply affected by Christoffer's sudden illness”, the club said in a statement Tuesday.
“Kristoffer Olsson is suffering from what appears to be an acute brain disease, which is neither due to any self - inflicted damage nor because of external factors”
Olsson came through the Arsenal Youth Academy and made a presentation to the Topchits before joining Middleland in mid-2015 Premier League season, Kosovo Preses follows.
Olsson has missed the last two Middleland matches in Danish Superleague, and for the last time has appeared for the club against Fredrickstad in the Atlantic Cup on February 9th.
