Agriculture ministry returns property of 4ml euros, Peci says in 2021 it was given to a Serb

Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Faton Peci at a media conference has announced they have returned a 4m-euro property, which was granted to a Serb.

Peci has declared that an area of 34 gold hectare, worth about 4m euros, property of the Ministry of Agriculture, was carried to the owner in 2021 and that they have already managed to restore the Ministry of Agriculture.

Peci said this case is a “one of the most controversial cases that has occurred in the attempt to alter and abuse state properties”.

“The way to save this property, for me as minister, but I am also trusting all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who love it, represents a crime. In December 2020, the directorate of the Cadastri of the Pristina municipality was commissioned to perform the execution of the September 1996 court, where the parcel we are in today is being held by Jovica Denizi”.

As a result of our insistence, the high-profile acters who have made scandalous and criminal decisions for years in acquiring state property to individuals and specifically worth about four million euros' worth of property has eventually returned to the Ministry of Agriculture before six days”, he said.

Peci invited the State Prosecutor to commit to investigate all ways of carrying property from the Ministry of Agriculture, to groups or individuals.
