She was smuggling goods from Serbia, Kosovo police apprehending Lipjan suspect

Kosovo police through a statement have indicated that they have intensified tactical controls and field operations at the border belt of the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, in the area bordering the municipality of Kamenica and Gjilan.

According to the announcement, where the operation was conducted by Task Force-United in co-operation with Kosovo Customs, in the implementation of tasks and fighting smuggling.

“By 20.12.24, senior units in late hours at the Gjilan-Pristina magistrates have stopped a truck with local M.S. directors, aged 40 from Lipjan. Commercial goods smuggled from Serbia have been encountered during truck control, where there have been some bills issued by the country of origin (Serbia).” Notice.

The goods are seized and sent to the customs terminal further proceedings by Kosovo Customs case.
