Enver Hoxhaj, former Minister of Education and one of the leading PDK figures, has published a Facebook video presenting his achievements during his term as Education Minister (2008-2011) and promises reforms his party plans to implement in the education sector if it wins the February 9th 2025 elections.
During his mandate, the teachers' salaries suffered a 100 per cent historic increase, while the educational system was reformed with the accreditment of private and public institutions of higher education and significant improvement of school infrastructure.
Under the PDK's education programme, Hoxhaj has highlighted some top priorities: Raising salaries for teachers of up to 50 percent, digitizing education, preparing new generations for technological challenges, establishing a Bursass Fund to support students and students with high results, integrating modern technologies into the learning process, to help develop a more efficient and advanced system.
