In the American television chronicle, the woman is identified as a “back recypient”, a term usually used to describe the homeless who receive humanitarian aid. This has raised numerous doubts about her identity, especially among Albanians who recognise the history of the popular singer.
On social networks, some users have shared Facebook profiles bearing the name Simaku Nolfe, which often publish memories of Parashire Simaku's career in Albania. These posts have added further voices to the woman's identity in the video, although there is no official confirmation so far.
Cite Simaku, born in September 1966, debuted on the scene of the RTS Song Festival in 1983, when she was only 17 years old. With her voice and talent, she won the hearts of the Albanian public, receiving several important awards. In 1985, she took first place at the 24th Song Festival with the song “at the age of youth”, while in 1988 she triumphed again with the song “and we want happiness” composed by Pirro Chako.
During her career in Albania, Simaku performed a rich rapper with loving songs for the Albanian public. After the 1990 ' s, however, she withdrew from the scene and settled in the United States, leaving an enigmatic figure for the public.
The last video has restored its name to the spotlight, but so far, the mystery about the woman in the picture remains unresolved.
