The tragic news has revealed the Swiss Ski Federation, a day after it passed away, writes the official page of the Olympics, follows “Express”.
Swiss-Ski Sport Executive Director Walter Reusser said: "We are shocked and our thoughts are with Sophie's family, to whom we express our deepest condolences. ”

Hediger had won the bronze medal at the Junior Winter Olympics “Lillehammer 2016” before competing in individual and friendly races with the snowboard team at the Winter Olympics “Beijing 2022. ”
It had achieved success in the World Organised by the International Federation of Skitari in last season, ending at the podium after taking second place in St. Moritz last January.
A week later it finished in third place in Gudauri, Georgia.
The rising star was born and raised in Horgen, near Lake Zurich, but had spent the most time enjoying the winter sport in Arosa, where he also suffered the fatal accident.
