Candidate of The PDK for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, has held a meeting with businesses in Gjilan.
He said businesses rarely receive the gratitude they receive for what they do for society and the state.
“E knows there are not many who tell you that you are the foundation of the state of Kosovo and that Kosovo's successes feed and keep the state of Kosovo alive. I'm one of those who know this very well and that's why it's a pleasure to have the opportunity to tell you this. My programme for Kosovo's future government has one of the main pillars support for private business”.
Hamza said his first commitment is to improve tax burdens for businesses, becomes known in the statement.
“We will change the current practice of paying TVS for imported goods at the border, which has commissioned businesses to pay TVS before selling the product, practice that unfair to businesses. We will transfer the TVS meeting inside Kosovo so the business will pay TVS after selling the product”.
Candidate of The PDK for prime minister said small businesses with annual circulation of up to 10,000 euros -- exempting service activities as lawyers or consultations -- would be free of taxes.
Moreover, annual circulation businesses between 10,000 euros and 30 thousand euros will be taxed based on real profit after discounts”.
He said businesses that invest over 500 thousand euros or employ over 50 workers will be released from tax in profit for certain periods of time.
Hamza further stated he would abolish the current property tax law to secure affordable tax burdens for families and businesses.
