“O God what shorties”, De Biasi comments on the game with Serbia: I want to go back to Belgrade

The World Qualification Championship has turned us 10 years later into one of the darkest matches in our national history -- the Belgrade contest on October 14, 2014 -- that for superstitious people could only happen on a day called Friday 13, or the Black Friday.

The scene of violence, monsters, shameful ones, occurred at Belgrade Stadium with the entrance of the famous drive with the flag Autoctenos.

The origin evidently called the natives. Yet, a very serious event for which we had to seek justice in courts to obtain our right ever since to qualify for the first time in history in one European history.

It was the greatest gift that Coach Gianni de Biasi, who today 10 years later, reacts to Top Channel:

My God. From this point of view there was a lot I didn't expect, after what happened to us, but from a positive point of view, it's a good thing because we in those preliminary ones qualified in the Europeans and Serbia put it down. 

We lost the second fight in Elbasan but there were fans like you who made me believe more because we were, okay, 0-0 and I remember that I'm really mad and I've been screaming at a lot of players. Still, I hope you can qualify for the World 2026. And I would gladly go to Belgrade... if they gave me assurances of security”.

How do you see Albania-Serbia facing today? How can you motivate the boys after what they saw, read and hear?

Dear Andy, you're going to focus on all matches not just this. But if we're going to talk about it specifically, this is not a match that requires some particular motivation, namely, we have to prepare for how to deal with our opponent from a technical takit point of view. On the other hand, all emotions that exceed the football field” must be kept under control.

Simpler than the one who qualified us to Europian 2016?

This group that has Albania is with three real teams -- with England, Albania and Serbia -- as the other two teams are light years away with you and other opponents, maybe to score each other. And for the sake of truth, facing qualifications will only be between two teams of Albania and Serbia for second place since the first country for me is England.
