Final Results of First Round of Elections published in Croatia

Croatia's Central Election Commission has published final results after counting 100 per cent of the votes for presidential elections. Croatia's Central Election Commission has published final results after counting 100 per cent of the votes for presidential elections.
After the first round of elections, Zoran Milanovic won 49.09 per cent of the vote, or 797,938 votes.
On the other hand, his opponent in the second round of the elections, Dragan Primorac from the HDZ of current Prime Minister Andrej Plenkov, won support of 19.35 per cent of voters, or 314,663 votes.
All diaspora votes were also counted, and Primorac won the most votes -- 48,16 percent (11,681). Zoran Milanovic, meanwhile, enjoys the support of 17.05 percent of voters abroad (4,137).
The second round of elections in Croatia will be held on 12 January.
