Fire in the Eiffel Tower, tourists evacuate immediately

Today the alarm has been set up in the Eiffel Tower because of the fire caused in one of the elevators.

The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished, but there was a lot of panic after 1,200 people within the tourist attraction were forced to evacuate.

According to initial information, fire has fallen on an elevator shaft between the first and the second floors.

In fact, the fireman's first assessments show that fire started when an elevator cable device was overheated.
