The purpose of these meetings is to have writers and readers, especially with students and students, in order to get acquainted with the experience of literary writing but also with the importance of reading and creative education.
In the presence of students and teachers of British School of Kosovo, as well as other participants, the literary meeting with the poet Gevahire Izmacu, moderated poet and literature researcher Sali Basota, who presented the current literary creativity of Geevahire Izmak.
In her address, Xhevahire Izmaku edified memories of her creative beginnings as elementary school student and high school in Vushtrri, then as an Albanian literature student in Pristina. In this case, poet Izmak offered many examples from her creative experience, related to literary writing, especially with the poetry that was and remained the most interesting guide in life, but also for the works of world renowned writers, who had read them with special passions from a young age, saying that her spiritual attachment to literature was not random but was one of life's goals.
Speaking of the theme and the motives of poetry that they wrote, he particularly discerned the motives associated with their homeland and war themes and the freedom of love.
Her memories, especially of the book <x0Lot of the Heart”, which was published in the circumstances of the survival of the Albanian word, were quite impressive for those present.
Part of the writer's watch was also the reading of the poems selected by the author but also by the AAB College students.
At the end of the meeting, a conversation took place with the poet Gevahire Izmaku. There were many questions, especially from students, regarding her literary creativity, but also other questions about the literature of the woman once and today, as well as of contemporary trends in the development of Albanian literature.
Gevahire Izak has completed studies on literature and Albanian language at the University of Pristina Faculty of Philology. He has also conducted postgraduate studies at the University of Tirana, where he has won the scientific degree Dr. Science and Communication. She has also worked as a professor and has continued with her activity as a human rights activist within KMLDNJ, while with the start of the war in Kosovo in 1998 - 1999, she took an active part in helping the people endangered by Serb massacres, serving freedom fighters. It was reporting for various Albanian and international news agencies as war reporters.
Then in 1999, 2002, he worked journalist-reporter on RTV 21.
Xhevahire Izak has a rich political experience, being deputy of the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament in three mandates during 2010-2019, but also part of local and central-level institutions.
As an MP, she has been chairman of commissions for drafting key laws dealing with media in Kosovo, which are still in force.
It is known as the poet and host of cultural manifestations in national - character organization, such as the Poetshare Meetings in Vushtrri. has published poetry books “Heart Lot”, “Diremation of the soul”, “Faorgina”.
