Agim Ademi has reacted to Romania's scandalous behaviour as Kosovo's host.
While the Dardans were unstoppable from the first minute, keeping Romanians at their gate, while the latter felt ashamed and began to offend our players.
Denis Alibec attacked Amir Candor, who was steadfast in each duel, while Romanian hooligans attacked with chairs, entered the field and with calls: “Serbia, Serbia” and “Kosovo is Serbia”.
For scandalous behaviour, FFK President Agim Ademi has said Kosovo will react until the CAS (The Court of Arbitrazhi Sports).
Full submission by Kosovo football head:
Dear players, fans, media and broad opinion,
In my name and the Executive Committee of the Kosovo Football Federation, I want to express the most sincere thanks for your unhurried support of our players' joint decision, technical staff, staff and Federation not to continue the game after racist and anti-Kosovo calls that took place in Bucharest at the Romanian-Kosovo match.
This decision was not easy, but it was righteous. Knowing all that had happened to us a year ago, we did not expect such a thing to happen again in Romania.
Now regardless of what legal epilogue this match will have to be, it should be stressed that we have been emotionally hurt (and particularly players) by the constant provocations and humiliation Romanian fans made in the choir.
The peak was reached with the incident initiated by some rival football players, which created a clear sense of attack, not just our team, but our country and state.
In those difficult moments, our players reacted with dignity, and we as Federation stood by their side to protect their emotions and dignity and our state.
This was a necessary act to maintain Kosovo's integrity and support any effort to a clean and fair sport, as are the principles of U. FIFA EFA.
We thank all the institutions and public opinion for their fair and firm support. We ensure that we will not stop and continue to seek constitutional justice for such political cases and intent that have no place in sports until the Court of Arbitrazhit Sportivo (KAS) in Loza.
Football should be a symbol of fair-play and unity, especially in such calibre matches.
We go on with pride and responsibility!
