During the Sparta match, some Czech fans have unveiled a banner supporting a Serbian footballer who had several fights with the coach of this team, and where ultra Spartan fans have supported him but in their support they have put the Serbian flag on the map of Kosovo.
Adam's reaction below:
As president of the Kosovo Football Federation, it expresses deep concern for the recent incident at the Czech Championship, which affects and challenges our state identity and is insulting to our footballers. This action is unacceptable and does not coincide with the spirit of respect and friendship football should promote.
We believe and promote football as a platform for coexistence and understanding among peoples. Therefore, we demand that any such provocation be avoided in the spirit of these values so that football will remain an example of unity and respect despite differences.
I also call on our footballers, who proudly represent Kosovo in their clubs, to continue to remain committed and professional, not being influenced by such provocations, no matter who they come from. We are aware of the challenges they face and wholeheartedly support them in every step of their career.
In that spirit, I address the leaders of the Sparta Prague club, as well as my friend Petr Fousek, president of the Czech federation, asking to ban these provocations and protect Albanian footballers, who are an example of professionalism and engagement in the green field.
In this case I tell Albion Canman, Ermal Krasniqi, Qazim Laci and Indri Tuci; Be proud of the nation and the states you represent. Albania and Kosovo are important factors in football, and your professionalism will make our football a primary in Europe.
I hope that success will always follow you, as the NK will always be with you, with all its capacities and possibilities.
Kosovo is an irreversible reality! )
<>This complaint will be addressed in U EFA, in club competitions, demanding that measures be taken to prevent such actions.
