Parliament's technical workers have protested Monday as a sign of dissatisfaction over the decision made Friday for failing to allow strikers in the building, the Online Economy reports.
“Don't replace workers”, <x2... don't punish the strikers”, were some of the inscriptions they held in their hands while seeking reflection on the part of Parliament's chairman, Glauk Konjufca. They asked Konjufca to take responsibility for the decision and get back to work.
Independent Private Sector Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi has said that protests and the indictment will continue until the handover of responsibility by Parliament and the contracting company “Shadberger”.
We're going through legal procedure, and we're not calling anyone's decision, we're saying thank you for what they've done, the protest goes on, the legal procedure goes on we've protested from seven o'clock, in talking to all relevant institutions today we've got legal support that today's actions, and this company is illegal. We'll continue the strike and indictment. I guarantee that these workers won't lose a penny of their work”, Azem said.
Their protest has also been supported by Kolestik for Religious Thinking and Action, who joined their protest.
Otherwise today, the strikers were not allowed into the Parliament institution while awaiting an official list that will determine which of them will continue the work.
Even though three months of technical workers are on strike at home, new workers have been brought from the same contracting company.
