Yamal, who was the undisputed favourite to win this award, was confirmed as the winner of the top prize after an extraordinary year with both the club and the national.
The climax of his success came with the victory of EURO 2024 with Spain during the summer, while celebrating his 17th birthday during the tournament.
Yamal toped the close list of 25 players, including also Kjo Maino and Alejandro Garnac of Manchester United, Kenan Yildiz and Samuel Juventu's Dhumbulas, as well as Andrewick and Real Madrid's Arda Güler.
He becomes Barcelona's third player to win this award in the last four years, following Pedri's success in 2021 and Gavi in 2022. The previous winner was Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid.
