Kosovo's Taekwondo Federation on Tuesday has reacted to the incident that took place Sunday morning in Tirana.
The FTWK has announced the six-month sentence of coach from the European Federation of Taekwondo. This was announced Monday by the European federation.
“Working and hoping that cases like this and other similar cases will not be repeated, FTWK strongly condemns such actions and vows that it will always take action against these” phenomena, wrote the Kosovo federation of taekwondos.
Shortly after the federation was declared the Kosovo Olympic Committee, which was also not approved Monday.
“The KOK, praising the case as sensitive, has initially held meetings with federation leaders in order to get all necessary information about the incident. The KOK supports FTK in terms of the coach's suspension decision, and at one time condemns the incident, with the hope and confidence that such cases, which tarnish Kosovo's sport, end the response from the Kosovo Olympic Committee.
Otherwise, Kosovo coach Valmir Fetiu has slapped the racer and his 8-year-old daughter. The federation has refused to be declared on Sunday and Monday, as it issued a communiqué in the case Tuesday afternoon.
