Kosovo's national will face Iceland in the context of the match "Play-off" for promotion in the B League of Nations.
The match between the Dardans and the Nordic island will take place during March 2025, but Iceland has already undergone changes.
Coach Hareide has resigned from the national team, and the heads of the Icelandic Federation have accepted it.
“Age Hareide has decided to withdraw as a coach of the A's Nationals and therefore has resigned at his initiative”.
“Haraide took over from Arnar Vidarsson in April 2023 and led him to a total of 20 matches. The Icelandic Football Federation thanks Age for its work and wishes all the best”, says the report.
After his departure, Hareide told the reason for his resignation.
I've been enjoying my time with the Icelandic national, but I believe now is the right time to retire”
There are exciting times ahead for the team and many young players to grow up as team leaders. I wish the Irish team and football all the best in the future”, Hareeide said.
