For three days the mountains of the village of Lybenic have been engulfed by fire. Despite efforts, the fire has failed to die out.

The fiery situation on the mountains of Lubenici, the Pec region today, is not put under control
Based on reports by the Emergency Operations Center QOE112 Payable which through the Operational Center - QO of AME co-ordinates central assistance to local authorities, the situation with fire in the Lubeniki Mountains has not yet been brought under control.
For the third day from dt.05.11.2024 the capacity of the professional unit of Fire and Rescue Peja assisted by local citizens, the forest authority is in the battle with fire that on the rugged mountain field, difficult for access to fire extinguishing vehicles, apparently difficult and unable to complete the successful fire operation.
