Earlier, a statement issued by the Dutch capital's municipality, police and prosecution said the night after the Europe League match between Ajax and the Maccaby Tel Aviv “was very troubled with several incidents of violence directed at Maccab's” fans.
Violence was condemned by leaders of the Netherlands and Israel as anti - Semitics. Israel announced that it was sending planes to the Dutch capital to take fans home.
