In the communiques the United Education Union have said that failure to execute salaries will present problems for those educators who live on only one salary, and much worse for those who have loans and installments to pay.
“Recall Minister Murati that no timely execution of wages for the month of September causes negative financial effects on education workers, and not only by the fact that most of them live with that salary and hardly associate the start of the month with its end. Much worse, many of them are also on credit and the delay in executing salaries creates additional problems because loan installments are related to dates and pay releases, and so employees without their blame can be punished with additional interest rates for their” loans, said the SBASK response.
Finally, the organisation headed by Beftman Jasharaj has called for an urgent solution and has warned also of union action if that would happen.
“The SBASK urgently demands that Minister Murati feel responsible for failing to execute September's wages in time and to increase commitments and find legal opportunities for the execution of wages to take place today because we will otherwise consult membership and by respecting their voice, we can start with syndic actions”, said the SBASK communiqué.
