Daniel Serwer, a prominent American professor, spoke about relations between Kosovo and the United States of America.
In an interview for Radio Free EuropeAmerican professor said Kurt's behavior is not well received in Washington.
“They think he should consult about everything. They have even been taught that Kosovo prime ministers follow many guidelines from Washington and tell the truth, Kurt's behaviour is not well accepted by them.He told us about the REL.
On the other hand, Cerwer estimated that the time has come to give priority to American relations.
I think it's time to give priority to relations with America, to see what can be done to ensure more support for Kosovo's sovereignty and territorial integrity. I wouldn't compromise any of this at all, but I would say Washington <x1ndee well, what do you need? Tell us what you need and we'll see what we're gonna do”. Every small country needs an alliance to survive and thrive, no doubt about that. How does Luxembourg survive Belgium, how does the Netherlands survive? They survive because they are in a system of friends and allies that enables them to survive and thrive” Serwer said.
