At the Constitutional Court in Pristina, there will be preparedness hearings in the case of the Banjska attack, in which the accused, who are in custody in Kosovo, must be declared concerning guilt.

Security measures have been stepped up before the Special Department of the Foundation Court in Pristina, where at 09:30 the trial is expected to start against the three indictees for the terrorist attack in Banjska.

The online Economy's views also show media interest in covering this judicial process.

Kosovo's Special Prosecutor has filed an indictment against 45 persons charged with terrorism, terrorism financing and serious criminal acts on September 11th, but only three are available to justice bodies: Vdalmir Tolliq, Blagoje Spasojevicq and Dusan Maksimovic.

They have been arrested after the armed attack on Banjska, north of Kosovo, when an armed Serb group attacked the Kosovo Police and killed police, Africa Bulnjak.

During the shootout, three attackers were later killed, Klankosova broadcast.tv.

The responsibility for last September's attack took over Milan Radoic, former deputy chairman of the Serbian List, the largest party of Serbs in Kosovo, which has the backing of official Belgrade.

It is believed that he, and most members of this armed group, are located in Serbia.

Who are the defendants?

The charge mentions 45 people:

Milan Radojciq, Blagoje Spasojevic, Vdalmir Toliq, Dusan Maksimovic, Vdalmir Radivojevicq, Uglesa Jarediq, Milorad Yevtiq, Vlastimir Andric, Aleksandar Milosavlevljevic, Lizzar Shmiq, Valko Djordjevicq, Vljrav Siqko, Valova Krstovic, Uros Milovic, Trajko Vasqu, Dani Vasloqu, Valajac, Perisavac, Perisava Sasaman Stankov, Valqkov, Stefan Luclo Valqkov, Valkov, Valsav Valkov, Valkov, Valkov, Valkov, Valko, Valko, Valkov, Valkov, Valkov, Valsav Valkov, Valkov, Valsavko, Valkov, Valsav Valko, Valsavol Valsavol Valkov, Valkov, Valsavov, Valsavov, Valsavov. Kosovo's Special Prosecutor charges the accused in the Banjska case, among other things, with terrorist acts and works against Kosovo's constitutional order and security.

Earlier, case prosecutor Naim Abazi has said the accused had different roles within the criminal group from organising and directing terrorist activities to financing and money laundering.

The indictment says that this group, through the use of heavy-armed violence, has attempted “the northern part of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, respectively, Serb-run municipalities, and this part of the territory of joining the Republic of Serbia”.

As leader of this group, Milan Radociq has been identified, allegedly playing an important role in co-ordination and criminal activities. Radovacic is on the US and United Kingdom blacklist for links to international organised crime and corruption. In Kosovo, Radojic also relates to the murder of a Serbian opposition politician and the intimidation of witnesses in a judicial process linked to illegal construction.

In the indictment, the Prosecution cites 34 evidence files, among which there are videos, analysis of electronic devices, different answers from Luxembourg, Bosnia and Herzegovina, different banks and institutions, witness statements, etc.

The investigation into the Banjska attack is being led by Belgrade's High Public Prosecutor, who charges Radocicin with three criminal acts, including unauthorized production, possession, possession and trafficking of firearms and explosives, and heavy works against public safety. Other suspects are unknown persons (NN).

Kosovo authorities consider the attack in Banjska an act of terrorism and accuse Serbia of standing behind it. Minister Svecla said intelligence information exists that the same groups continue to train on Serbia's territory and around the border between Kosovo and Serbia.

On the other hand, Serbia in some cases has denied any involvement, while Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has stressed that for Belgrade this attack is not terrorist but is being investigated.

The international community has strongly condemned the attack on Banjska and called for investigation and for those responsible to be brought to justice.
