(2 years ago)The United Education, Science and Culture Union of Kosovo (SBASHK) has called for urgent resolution of the problem of teachers' salaries in the municipality of the Year, which have not yet received salaries for September. “The SBASK rejoiced the news that the possibility for prosecution of salaries of education workers was established, but this did not happen for education workers in the municipality of the Year, who have remained unjustly without September's salary,”, said the report. The union has appealed to the Finance Ministry and the central and local institutions to co-operate to find a quick solution so that wages can be processed without delay.
The SBASK warned that unless measures are taken, it will support the union's actions of teachers in the Year.
If that doesn't happen, SBASK at the central level will maintain continued communication with the union level chairman of the year, Kemal Bislimi, and will support their every action, including the strike,” is highlighted in the announcement.
The SBASK chairman, Nundman Jasharaj, along with members of the central staff, is expected to visit the Year in the afternoon to discuss with representatives of the pre-university Education Union for the next steps.
