The decision was confirmed Monday, and Manchester United's former assailant, Ruud van Nistelroy, who was Ten Hag's deputy, will assume the team's temporary responsibility with immediate effect.
“Erik ten Hag has left his role as Manchester United's first team manager. Eric was named in April 2022 and led the club towards two trophies, winning the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.
