Reuben Amorim's officialisation as United coach could be postponed for weeks

Reuben Amorim's passage to Manchester United could face considerable delays due to a clause in his contract for several weeks

According to the Daily Mail report, ReportersExpress, United are holding talks with Sporting about the period when they will formalize Amorimão, as an act in his contract says he should leave in a few weeks if someone pays his clause.

The Portuguese club announced on Tuesday that the Red Days had expressed the desire to pay for the 39-year-old coach's release clause, but it remains unclear when he will be able to start work at Manchester.

Reports show United had hoped to official Amorim as their new coach before the weekend encounter with Chelsea at Premier League, after Eric ten Hag was dismissed on Monday.

However, Mail reports that Amorim may not be able to lead the team before the November 24th match against Ipswich Town, allowing Ruud van Nistelroy to take the temporary lead for four matches.

United will face Leicester at EFL Cup in midweek and then with Chelsea before the Europe League match PAOK and a second encounter with Leicester at Premier League. Then comes the holiday of the Nationals, until they play with Ipswich Town on November 24th, leaving Van Nistelroy to lead the team in four matches, if Amorim's delay continues.

United will hope to resolve negotiations issues to formalise Amorim. He won't be on the panxie against Leicester at EFL Cup, with Van Nistelroy heading the team Wednesday.
