Sheffield United's former player, George Baldock, is dead.

Greek football player reportedly has been found dead in his swimming pool in Greece at the age of 31.

Greek media report it was Baldock's wife who raised concerns because she could not contact her for several hours.

Baldock was found in the pool and emergency services were called, with a doctor part of the reaction unit proving he had died tragically.

He played with Greece's national during 2022, has also appeared in two matches against Kosovo, where one of them took place at the” Fadil Vokri” stadium in Pristina.

The 31-year-old was recently part of the Panathinaikos team, until last year he played in the English premiere, with Sheffield United team. /IndexOnline/
