Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama says he plans to run for a fourth term, since he has work yet to be done.
“Plan is to run. But there is still time until then. I think I have to run because there's work to be done. And in these three mandates we've done wonderful things”, he said in an interview for Reuters, writes A2 CNN.
Rama said Albania used to be news only for bad, while as progressive it sees the country's great tourism.
“Albania was not on the map. Albania was only news of bad news. And now we have crossed the ceiling of 10 million tourists in a country where tourism was a good idea and a dream, but not reality”, he said.
Then there is this phase of the fight against corruption, which should become irreversible. And with the potential goal of raising our flag in Brussels within this decade, it is worth running for another mandate. Then people will decide”, the Albanian prime minister added.
