Economy expert Arben Mustafa has indicated that in a year, over 13 thousand businesses have disappeared in Kosovo.
For this, Iron Murati, minister of finance, labour and transfers, has reacted that for 8 months in Kosovo, 8,021 new companies have been registered.
Through a post in Facebok, referring to AKS data, he said the 2023 trend continued and 2024.
“Sapas ASS, 9,807 new net companies have been added during 2023, so 11,409 new registered companies and 1,602 extinct companies. The same trend continued in 2024, where for the first eight months we have 8,021 new companies registered, or an average of 1,000 new records per month. That makes us believe that by the end of the year we will have about 12,000 new companies registered”, he said.
Murati says these are facts, then he mentioned e and the opposition, which, according to him, “is making a mistake”, when he's talking about the drop in the number of businesses.
“While the opposition on the other side makes the next miss, claiming that in 2023 there was a drop in the number of businesses”, Murati said.
