American Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia James O'Brien and European General Director for Foreign Affairs Angelina Eichhorst are expected to come to Pristina today. As newspaper Express finds out, they will have a meeting with Prime Minister Kurti.
Although the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, is abroad, the two O'Brien and Eichhorst will hold the meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
O'Brien and Eichhorst yesterday were in Serbia, where they met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.
Vuciq said that at the meeting he also discussed Kosovo and the dialogue to continue with US and EU support.
“We have also exchanged opinions on Serbia's role in the Western Balkans and Europe. With my conversationaries, I became familiar with the situation in Kosovo and expressed deep concern about the challenges facing the Serbian people every day. I stressed the need for a greater US commitment to this issue, as stronger support and more active participation in the United States can contribute to stability and security in the region”, Vuciq said.
