During the conversation, Netanyah warned that imposing an embargo on Israel would help Iran and its supporters in the region.
The prime minister stressed that Israel's actions against Hezbollah create an opportunity to change the situation in Lebanon, in terms of stability, security and peace throughout the region”, Netanyah's office said.
Macron called on Saturday to end Israel's shipments of military equipment used at the Gaza Strip, causing an outrage at Netanyah, who described it as a disgrace.
