Molliqaj in “Debat Plus” said the Social Democratic Party would not be in the general parliamentary elections, which will be held on February 9th 2025 with the reason that they are “aware of the non-existence of” of sufficient support to be part of the Parliament as a single political party.

Molliqaj has “criculated” opposition parties” that they are not fully aware of what really happened in Kosovo over the years.

We are aware that there is not enough support to be part of the decision as a single party. As far as coalitions are concerned, we have closed all possible co-operation with opposition parliamentary parties for more than two years. Not because of any moral or immoral stigmatization of what I know the power wants to accuse. We haven't had a common cause, and we haven't had software. If they had been one or two, they would have been much easier. I believe Kurt is going to be challenged, he's going to fall down one day whenever the citizens of Kosovo decide, only when the subjects that are here today are going to understand even though Kurti has won, even though Kurt is holding power, but above all the power. I do not expect major electoral changes, but after elections, after reflection at the opposition camp. The opposition has not understood at all what happened in Kosovo.
