“Of course, after the assassination of Yahya Sinwar a new perspective is open and we have to use it to achieve a ceasefire, free the remaining hostages and seek a political perspective,” Borrell told reporters at the margins of a G7 summit, the BBC writes.
Hamas' leader, Yahya Sinwar, the main figures following the October 7th attacks on Israel, was killed by Israeli troops Wednesday. The Israeli Army published the fearful images, which it said would appear in the last moments of Sinwar before he was killed.
