Jurgen Klopp has found himself a new job after it is said to have signed a <x0fat long” contract to become “Global Football Chief” of “Red Bull”.
Klopp left his post as Liverpool coach in May after a successful nine-year period at the top, after leading the red to the triumphs of Champions League and Premier League.
The 57-year-old had enjoyed his vacation, claiming he did not want to take a coach role and needed rest after making his decision at the beginning of the year.
However, according to “Sky German”, former Liverpool coach has now agreed to an agreement with “Red Bull” and will take the role on January 1st 2025.
This role will require that Klopp be responsible for the international network of all “Red Bull”, including Leipzig, Salzburg and New York Red Bulls.
It will be required to advise clubs on training issues, game philosophy, the development and transfers of players and trainers.
Moreover, Klopp has negotiated a removal clause that would allow him to take over the German national team's post if offered.
It has been widely reported in recent months that European giants have appointed Klopp as a potential descendant of current coach Julian Nagelsmann, whose contract lasts until the end of the 2026 World Cup.
Last month, national sports director Rudi Voller said they would follow Clpp if he decided to return in the direction.
By “Sky”, Oliver Mintzlaff, current CEO of the “Red Bull” Projects, is responsible for Klopp's arrival.
The 49-year-old had been asking for Clopp to approach and has now achieved his wish.
In September, Klopp returned to work as part of a match to honour two of his former players, Lucas Piszczek and Jacob Blazczykowski.
At the beginning of this summer, he appeared to have claimed he would not likely return to management at the highest level, but would consider a job in football after his break.
