The Institute for Development Policy (INDEP) has kept the Seminari “Roli of the joint regional market (CRM) in Kosovo's economic future and European integration into 6 Southeast European states”.
Senior Adviser for the Western Balkans Special Representative by the German Federal Government, Valeska Esch, has stressed that Germany wants to see the six Western Balkan countries integrated into the EU as soon as possible.
The German government will see the six countries integrate as soon as possible, and when the Berlin Process was made 10 years ago, it aims for economic integration and towards EU membership. Every step of regional economic integration is important. The German government welcomed Prime Minister Kurti's decision to abolish visas for Bosnia”, it has said.
Meanwhile, Kosovo Prime Minister Jeton Zulfaj's political adviser, has stressed that through those three years there is progress and change in the Berlin Process, as according to him, the Kosovo government has affected citizens' problems.
There are now concrete things we are doing in the Berlin Process. Given that the Joint Regional Market will have more incentives to do things because whatever we do, we have a plan to make reforms... We had many difficulties with CEFTA, now we have direct representation, that makes us participants and gives us the responsibility to move forward. Equality must ensure the Berlin Process has been key factors for all to be treated equal to”, Zulfaj said.
The Director of the World INDEP, Burim Ejupi has declared that during these 10 years the Berlin Process has created successes for Kosovo on the common regional market.
While, Ardian Hakkaj, director of research of CDI and Co-ordinator of the Tirana League Forum, has said that what has been achieved at the political level must be cut off in the furniture agreement.
