At least 95 people lost their lives in the storm and floods in Spain.
Horrible water torrents hit mostly the eastern region of Valencia, leaving cities and roads underwater, destroying bridges. In just ten hours, the annual quantity of rain fell in some parts of the region.
Civil defense helicopters evacuated people from roof houses in the provinces of Andaluzia, Valencias and Albacete. Emergency services are trying to penetrate the most affected areas.

“We are starting to enter areas that are so far beyond our reach. We can confirm that we have found troops, but for respect for families we will not give details”, said Carlos Mazon, president of the Vallencia region.
Currently, 5,000 cars with 1,200 people are blocked on roads throughout the province of Valencia, local authorities announced. The train from Valancia to the capital Madrid will not move until Sunday, and the storm has so far prevented the journey of 24,000 passengers to that province on the Mediterranean coast.
