In the Kosova A plant today, an independence has occurred. Kosovo's Energy Elexor Corporation has suggested that a brief link has taken place in the measurement cables, which has led to the power plant's collapse. The opposition has voiced further doubts about the case.

Opposition party representatives have voiced doubts that today's independence in KEK is intentional. According to them, power now needs money for election campaigns.

The first to react to this case has been deputy PDK, Ferat Shala.

In his account in “Facebook”, he published a video showing fire, expressing doubts.

According to him, this addiction suits the energy mafia.

“Exploration of the pot “This suits the energy mafia, because now we need the import of energy! ”, Shala wrote.

Concerned about the incident, LDK Chiefship member Wisar Azemi has also indicated.

He has suggested that these breakdowns endanger the lives of workers working at this company.

“Avaria in our thermal power plants, which have passed their projected life expectancy, are unexpected and dangerous. Besides cutting off production, these breakdowns endanger the lives of workers, as witnessed by today's explosion at the Kosova A thermal power plant. We remember that the Kosova A thermal power plant has had to be closed since 2017, making this a continuing violation of air quality regulations, which is damaging the health of our citizens every day. Any delay in investment is bringing serious consequences, leaving us dependent on imports and risking the country's energy stability”, Azemi wrote.

According to him, no capacity for energy supply has been built during Kurti Government.

For 4 years of this government, no new power generation capacity has been built, though with the 2022-2031 Energy Strategy, investments are provided. As we approach winter months and demand for electricity will significantly increase, actual production in Kosovo is not enough. This forces us to buy energy from abroad at very high prices, raising the price for our citizens”, he has appreciated.

Azem has indicated that his party has solutions to the issue.

“into our program, the new “road”, we have preceded the construction of a 500-megawatt gas plant that will cost 500m euros and make the right solution to the power supply, meeting our needs. This government should be responsible for energy failures. It's time for quick and concrete action”, Azemi wrote.

In contrast, Zafir Berisha, member of the Initiative's Headship, has mentioned VV committee co-ordinator Dejona Mihali.

“Pass has detonated “Albiner”, at the Kosova A-Bloku A4 thermal power plant, but it is not known by co-ordinating or uncoordinating with fellow Mihali! KEK denies opposition allegations

Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) has denied opposition claims.

Through a media report, this company has shown that the A4 unit has stopped because of a brief link to measurement cables.

According to the announcement, this unit has been regularly shut down.
