Semsedin Dresaj, deputy from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, for failing to meet the Parliamentary Investigative Commission for the process of subsiding textbooks, said that despite the fact that it has been likely to properly complete its mission, unfortunately at the last two meetings there has been a lack of MPs from the ruling party.
At RTK Dresaj indicated that today they had three last witnesses to interview in terms of interference, but, he underlined, it was impossible because of the ruling party's lack of deputies.
The parliamentary majority reasons for their boycott at the meetings of commissions and parliamentary hearings, which link to non-signing international agreements, Dresaj clarified that today's gathering of the Parliamentary Investigative Commission for text subsidies had nothing to do with the agenda declared by ruling party MPs. This commission's “Agent is the investigation into the subsidisation of textbooks for our students”, Dresaj underlined.
According to him, major concessions have been found on this issue, whether in the process of subsidising texts or in the payment process, in the process of distribution and distribution time.
On the other hand, Dresaj added that these findings implicate the Ministry of Education in actions and steps that have not been needed and that tomorrow they may be subject to research by competent organs. He noted the growth of the budget in this ministry in subsidising textbooks.
