Germany today marks the 34th anniversary of the union. On October 3, 1990, Germany officially joined, with the goal of both parts of the country developing equally.
Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, declared for RTK that Germany's Union Day is very important for the German people.
He also spoke of co-operation between Germany and Kosovo, stressing that the two countries have good relations in many areas.
Rohde cited the latest economic forum being held in Kosovo as an example of this co-operation.
Ambassador Rohde confirmed that Germany will continue to support Kosovo and the Western Balkan countries, stressing that Germany remains a reliable partner for Kosovo. /RTK/
