This weekend, the clockwise will be 60 minutes behind. As if it is a winter - hour tradition, it is introduced on the last Sunday of October, which for this year corresponds to October 27th.
As usual, the difference is about 3:00 in the morning. In smart cell phones, change takes place automatically. Clockwise movements occur twice a year: In the last week of October and on the last Sunday of March, when the hour goes ahead.
The change of clock in Europe has been inconsistent, but it began to generalise since 1974, after the first oil crisis when some countries decided to move forward the clock so that they could use sunlight and consume less electricity.
Do other countries have time difference?
In the Northern Hemisphere, most of Europe and North America observe the time of day savings (DST). Egypt is the only place in Africa that changes the clock during the summer.
Israel, Palestine and Lebanon also respect day savings. Only small parts of South America and the Ocean participate in the southern hemisphere.
Not every country respects the same date to change its time. In Australia, for example, the hours went ahead (for its summer) on October 6 of this year, and in the United States, the hours will be returned on November 3rd.
And all except one place, they change hours for an hour. Lord Howe Island, on Australia's eastern coast, regulates time by 30 minutes.
