According to “Gazzetta.it”, there is no confirmation that the meeting between the ADL and the Portuguese coach will actually take place, but Mourinho wants another big adventure after the Roman dismissal, so he has refused an offer by Al Shabaab, KosovoPress follows.
The paper adds that De Laurentis would break the bank for only one coach, Antonio Cteto, and remains to be seen if Jorge Mendez and Mourinho would convince the owner of “Pratenopeit” to make a lucrative offer for the 2024-2025 season.
Mourinho was fired from Rome after two and a half years. He won 68 out of his 138 matches at the top of “Gilloross”, winning the Conference League at 2021-22.
