Kiev has intensified efforts to increase domestic weapons production after a lot of weapons demand has increased in Ukraine, a state that has been facing an unprotested Russian invasion for 19 months.
Ukrainian president said the Ministry for Strategic Industries, which will oversee production in Ukraine, has signed co-operation agreements with three associations, which include over 2,000 American defence companies.
Ukraine depends heavily on the support that the West sends weapons to him. To reduce this dependence, Zelensky and his team are seeking to make reforms in Ukraine's defence industry, modernise the weapons produced in the state and increase supplies on the front line. / REL
