Bundestag deputy Thomas Hacker, who has said the failure of this meeting is a bitter lesson for the European Union and points out that the lack of political will by Kosovo and Serbia has caused major damage to EU credibility as resolving conflicts.
“Wanting the meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Alexander is a bitter lesson for the EU as honest resolution of conflicts. The lack of political will on both sides to normalise relations between Serbia and Kosovo has caused major damage to the EU's international credibility as resolving conflicts in its neighbourhood, Hacker has said.
Hacker has said that by the time the European Political Community meets in Granda on 5 October, it must be used to make Kosovo and Serbia surrender.
The time now until the European Political Community summit in Granada should be used to get the two states to surrender.”, Hacker has launched.
The European Political Community has been nominated by France's President Emmanuel Macron on May 9th of 2022. It was first assembled on October 6, 2022. The next meeting will be held in Granada, Spain, on October 5, 2023.
