Lawyer Dejan A. Vasic has submitted the request yesterday for the testimony of Prime Minister Albin Kurti in the case of Dragisa Milenkovic of Kishnica, after the Special Prosecutor had earlier approved that Kurti be heard as a defence witness.
The request that current Prime Minister Albin Kurti testify in the procedure against Dragisa Mienkovic for war crimes has been submitted by lawyer Vasic last month.
“After the special prosecutor approved receiving evidence listening as a witness to the protection of Kosovo's current prime minister, Mr. Albin Kurti, today I have handed the prime minister a repeat request for evidence through the government office”, Vasic said of KIM radio, broadcast Paparaci.
He added that he prayerfully submitted his contacts for the eventual clarification of the content of the testimony.
“expects the testimony to be accepted in the following days”, has concluded lawyer Vasic.
To commemorate, Dragisa Milenkovic was arrested on June 21st in Kishnica. The prosecution charges Milenkovic with war crimes against the civilian population between 1998 and 1999. He allegedly systematically exercised torture, physical and psychological violence, as well as dehumanizing Albanian prisoners.
