Balkans beat first match in Conference League

The Balkans have begun losing their first match in the League of Conference by being defeated by Victoria Plzen with a score of 1-0.

The Kosovo champion managed to keep well in the first half, leaving little opportunity for the Czech team to infiltrate the area.

The Balkans sometimes went ahead with Berisha, Hamiddin and Gripsin, but did not seriously jeopardise the opposing gate because Plzen was also cautious in defence.

The best case in this match was in the 29th minute when Hranac took a long shot, but Enea Kolic made a fantastic reception for the local goal.

Berisha had a good case in the 40th minute, but in recent moments the Czech defence reacted and averted the risk.

Victoria Plzen was the most demanding in the second part and constantly sought the goal.

In an appearance ahead of Rafiu Durism in the 48th minute, he was asked to refer to the penalty, but the main judge of the match after reviewing it with the VAR looked at the Czech attacker as in a state of isolation.

Victoria Plzen continued to increase the pressure, with the Balkans in the latter part also aiming to counterattack the local team.

But when they were not expected, Victoria Plzen came to the goal.

Lucas Calvach took a hard hit, Kuc failed to divert it properly and the ball ended up in the Enea Kolic net.

In the 73rd minute, Plzen passed through.

In recent minutes, the Balkans began to blaze and was ahead of them, risking twice to equalise the outcome.

The best case for the Balkans to score was that of the 83rd minute, when Nazim Gripshi took a good hit which ended very little on Stanek goalkeeper.

Zyba had the next Balkan case in the 87th minute. His left kick that ended very close to the right pole at Victoria's gate.

At the end of the match, Victoria also managed to hit the pillar until the Balkans lost the first match in this match.

Next match in the Balkan Conference League will take place in Pristina, where Croatia's champion Dinamo Zagreb awaits.
