Northern Mitrovica Mayor Erden Attic has said he welcomes this administrative directive, which includes all municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo and not only the four municipalities in the country's north.

Attic announced that if he does not leave through the petition, he feels he will not have to resign from the mayor of the municipalities.
I don't think I should resign, I think administrative instruction will find the right formula in this matter. This instruction is being formulated because the residents of these municipalities express their will. In case I fail to fulfill that petition I don't see fit to resign. We have that role that defines the Constitutional Republic of Kosovo as nothing more, nothing less. I have the duty to exercise the mandate of the mayor, everything else is non-relevant”, Attic said.
